How then trampolines can be open ? But not soft plays ? Went for toddler session and tbh didnt notice any difference it was as busy as it was pre COVID shambles
Disabled groups are still closed too, when they do open it will be on a 2 family basis upto 5 family members. So unless you are going to operate this way which is impossible due to overheads etc then the SG have no choice to keep them closed and i agree soft play isn't a requirement nor will be detrimental towards a childs well being if remained closed. A lot of people are suffering atm with loss of jobs including myself, perspective is what's needed.
Jump In is open, seems like there is not much difference. They really have no clue.
Good morning lovely people!
We have been trying to get through to the government to tell them that facilities like ours are needed for children’s well-being and development but they don’t seem to want to hear us out 🤷♀️
We have our risk assessments and plans on how we could run a Covid safe facility. ( reduced capacity and enhanced cleaning etc )
Facebook has removed the poll option on pages so please respond to this post with reactions ( and comments if you wish to)
What is your feeling/ thoughts please?
Please give us your honest answers as we are trying to gain the feeling of our customers to present to the government.
Please remain respectful of others opinions and do not judge if you don’t agree- we need honest opinions of all and we promise to respect it regardless of what it is.
Thank you 🙂
❤️ soft plays/ indoor play centres should be open? ( COVID19 secure and with reduced capacity of course)
👍 Soft Plays/ indoor play should remain closed for now with financial support from the government.
😢 soft Play centres/ indoor play centres are not safe to reopen. … See MoreSee Less
I live on Leeds (used to visit as a toddler when it was Story Book Glenn!). Our play centers are all open, and it works really well. I've had no contact to say that there has been a covid outbreak in any of the ones we attend. Everything is cleaned meticulous, and everyone else very respectful of the rules. I hope your able to get through to the government and re open. Its a fantastic resource for kids (and parents) mental health! xx
Absolutely back you, 100%. Our younger children need this socialising time, it isn’t just our older children that need to be back to education, our younger ones educate in soft play areas to….🤷🏼♀️
Children under 12 are not socially distancing from one another & are mixing whilst in nurseries and schools anyway. Also, with regards to parents, you could do an online booking system and only allow a certain amount of people in at any one time (including spectators and children), and they have to book slots – ie. 1.5hrs and then the place is cleaned down before the next slot arrives. Just a thought.
Poor kids need something to do its too cold to stay out all the time x
❤️ definitely should be open. If children under 12 don’t need to socially distance and trampoline parks can open then why not soft plays? Doesn’t make sense x
❤️ under 12’s are not socially distancing at schools/nurseries any way. I’m sure it’s no different having a select number of parents/guardians in (same in a restaurant) no more than 2 households
Definitely open as long as adults socially distance etc ❤️
7 months since we were told to close our doors.
7 months of not seeing our customers.
7 months of not being able to go to work.
7 months of no income.
7 months of growing debts.
7 months of anxiety over our business hanging by the thread.
7 months of nightmare!
For 96% of Scotland this torture ended by September, yet for us we are still stuck in lockdown since March!
And it continues to be the case. :’(
